Our Anniversary and a Fashion Statement.

On March 25th, we were married for six years!  Happy Anniversary, Jeffie!  Love you!

We started the day like any other Sunday, with brekkie and a coffee from the local cafe, then headed to the market for our weekly fruit and veggie shopping.  I love going to the market - there are butchers and fruit and veggie stalls, pasta stalls, dried bean stalls...pretty much anything that you can want (fresh) is there.  It is so great - and about 1/2 the price of buying fruits and meats in the grocery store.

When we got home, I prepped some veggies for meals later in the week, and the onions were so strong, there was nothing that I could do to keep my eyes and nose from running, until this:
Glad Jeffie had his swim goggles for me to borrow!
Later that day, we went down to St. Kilda to watch the finishers of the Asia-Pacific Ironman.  After a bit, we headed to Acland Street to one of our favorite restaurants for a drink before dinner.

This place is like what I imagine Vegas was like in the 70's.  You expect that the Rat Pack will be sitting in the corner.  It is awesome, and the food is great, too!

We then headed to one of the restaurants on the bay for dinner and saw a great sunset.

We have also noticed a trend in Melbourne lately...the dress/skirt that is party in the front, business in the back - the reverse mullet skirt.  Not sure that I'll partake in this fashion statement...
